Department of Mechanical Engineering

Department of Mechanical Engineering was established in 2009 in  IES Institute of Technology and Management and under- graduate course started with initial intake of 60 students. The intake was increased to 120 in 2011 due to excellent results obtained. Further impetus was given to the department in 2013 by way of introduction of post graduate courses .Department of Mechanical Engineering is working with the objective to enable the students to acquire scientific knowledge, as well as provide a basis for their personal, social and cognitive development. The department is continuously taking efforts to impart state of the art education to students. Department has well equipped laboratories e.g. Strength of Materials, Fluid mechanics Hydraulics, Thermodynamics, Theory of Machine, Dynamics of Machine, Heat & Mass Transfer, Refrigeration & Air conditioning, Metal Cutting & CNC, CAD/ CAM, & SIM Lab etc. Department has qualified & experienced faculty for teaching & guiding the students for their project/ research work.
